Labels (AWB)

The "To ship" list shows today's orders with courier, cash on delivery, weight and a "Checks" column. Pick the orders, press "Generate label" and get one PDF, A4 or A6, sorted by courier. It works the same on every plan, Free included.

• Couriers: Sameday, FAN Courier, Cargus, GLS, DPD.
• Checks before generation: address, postal code, missing weight (with a default weight you set, never a silent 0.1 kg), missing cash-on-delivery amount.
• Warnings do not block; errors block only their own order, with the courier's text and "Retry" in place.
• Cancel a label at the courier and in Shopify in one click, then generate another.
• Re-send a refused or returned order, with a confirmation.

Invoicing

Coletly issues invoices in your SmartBill, Oblio or FGO account, with your series, in three ways: manually from the order; automatically when the label is created; or automatically after the cash on delivery appears on the courier's statement.

• Proforma invoices where the tool supports them through its API (SmartBill, Oblio; not FGO).
• A credit note is proposed on cancellation and on return; it is issued only with your confirmation.
• After a full credit note you can issue the invoice again.
• Invoices are never edited from Coletly; the correction is always a credit note.
• When the invoicing tool does not answer for certain (a timeout, say), Coletly does not retry blindly: it asks you to check in the tool first, so there are never two invoices.

Tracking

When the label is created, the order is fulfilled in Shopify with the tracking number and link, and the buyer receives Shopify's standard shipping e-mail. The Coletly tracking page shows the states in Romanian, with the same words as the app.

The public page shows only the state, dates and city. The order number and products appear only through the signed link sent to the buyer.

Lockers and pickup points

A locker picker on the cart page (a theme app extension, no code in your theme): map and list with distance and opening hours. The chosen locker lands on the order and in the label with the courier's matching service. The locker directory refreshes every night.

The map needs a tile provider at scale; until then the list works on its own.

Cash on delivery

Statements are fetched automatically from the FAN Courier, Cargus and DPD APIs (from Starter) or uploaded from the file Sameday and GLS export (on every plan). Coletly matches the lines to orders and shows only the exceptions: different amounts, missing parcels, uncollected orders.

• "Mark paid" marks the order paid in Shopify and, when an invoice exists, records the collection in the invoicing tool.
• Every step is saved; an interruption never records a collection twice.

Returns

The buyer requests a return from a signed link, after delivery. You approve or reject it in the app. For GLS and DPD a return label is issued; for Cargus the buyer gets drop-off instructions. On receipt, Coletly proposes the credit note and, for cash-on-delivery orders, a bank refund: the buyer's IBAN is stored encrypted and deleted after 90 days.

Courier rates at checkout

From Starter, Coletly can show your couriers' rates at checkout (fixed or calculated live) through Shopify's Carrier Service, with a separate rate for locker delivery. If a courier does not answer within Shopify's time budget, the backup rates you set are shown.

Carrier Service is available on the Shopify plans that include it.
